About Me

"I am me, but I aspire to be, more like Bugs Bunny" - JD Shapiro

I live a life filled with joy, wit, and adventure! I try to embrace every moment with confidence and humor, adapting effortlessly to any situation while not taking life too seriously, and always staying true to myself!

I’m irreverent yet charming, thriving in solitude or in company, and mastering the art of clever misdirection when necessary. I face setbacks but am committed to rising again, correcting my course, and persisting! My drive isn't heroism or pure selflessness, but I am selfish knowing that helping others genuinely makes me feel good - even if it's just for a fleeting moment of relief for them. I am...

JD: With a thick NYC/NJ/LA accent and a mumbling, kid-like voice reminiscent of Joe Pesci, he looks at Bugs and says, "Yo! Bugs! Stop scribbling, will ya?"

BUGS BUNNY: With his trademark nonchalance, leaned back and drawled, "Uh…What’s Up, Doc?"

JD: It isn't your stage, Bugs. It's mine. And knock it off with calling me, 'Doc'!

BUGS BUNNY: Feigning shock, he arches an eyebrow and bites into his carrot. His voice carries a playful edge, yet his eyes sparkle with mischief. "Jeez, really? It's all about you? Who's gonna give a hoot about you, Doc?"

[Bugs Bunny tosses the half-eaten carrot to JD and heads off.]

JD: "Hey, where you goin', Bugs? Bugs?!" His words echoed in the sudden silence.

[Beat.]

JD: Sighs. But he knows his friend will return. With a sheepish grin, JD turns to the invisible
audience, "Hi, I’m JD Shapiro. Uh... I want to be like Bugs Bunny."

These goals top my list of aspirations!

When I transition to the next dimension, I'd prefer to be remembered not for accolades or projects I've contributed to—though those would be nice—but rather for the effort I put into making the world a better, happier place for all living things, well, maybe just animals.

Achieving it means I'll face setbacks, but I'm committed to rising again, correcting my course, and persisting. My drive isn't heroism or pure selflessness; I'm honest enough to say I'm selfish. Helping others, I mean, helping animals genuinely makes me feel good, even if it's just for a fleeting moment of relief for them.

The kindness I've received from strangers, who sought neither recognition nor reward, has shaped who I am today. If more people recognized our interconnectedness with all life, our world—and indeed the Universe—could become a far more joyful and harmonious place for everyone.

As far as living up to the life of Bugs Bunny, I might as well try turning myself into a carrot because let's be real, me becoming the next Bugs Bunny? That's like me winning a spelling bee against a dictionary. I mean, Bugs has this infinite wardrobe of disguises down in his rabbit hole, and here I am struggling to find matching socks. He's got that cool, carrot-crunching vibe down pat, while my idea of nonchalance is forgetting to put on pants before going out to grab the mail.

Therefore, my mission is to contribute to a happier and better world for all living things, not for recognition or reward, but because helping others brings me profound personal fulfillment. I aim to leave a legacy of kindness and assistance, reflecting the universal connection we share, understanding that through helping others, I am also helping myself.

GAMBARU! 頑張る 🖖🏼❤️✨
